Mali Lošinj – The Family Hotel Vespera, a new member of the Kinderhotels group
This newly renovated Family Hotel Vespera, on the island of Lošinj is the first hotel on the Adriatic which has achieved the right to use the prestigious Kinderhotels brand.
It is an association of so called hotels for children, which have developed a wide concept for a family vacation appropriate for adults with babies and children. The Association has members in Austria, Germany and Italy, and the conditions of membership in the group are strictly defined and all attached hotels must meet demanding standards in one of the three Smiley categories. The wish of the affiliated hotels is to bring, through a unique appearance on the market, a specialized family offer closer to the public. In this way, families with small children have an easier time selecting an ideal place for a vacation that best suits their specific needs.

Croatian Hotels on the hunt for the tourism Oscar
For this year's World Travel Awards, a sort of tourist Oscar, nominated in five categories is the same number of Crotian hotels.
Dubrovnik's Palace Hotel and Korčula's Lešić Dimitri Palace were nominated for the leading European hotels award, and The Palace, along with Split's Le Meridien Lav hotel is in the running for the award for the leading European conference hotel. The Palace will appear in the competition for Europe's leading resort, while the Le Meridien Lav, together with Dubrovnik's Rixon Libertas hotel is nominated for Europe's leading casino resort. Hvar's Adriana competes for the prize for Europe's leading boutique resort.
